Donald Willis
 

Studio Manager

Donald Willis is the founder of PowerPlay Podcast TV and PowerPlay Radio Network and  has been involved in the broadcasting industry since 1994 when his media journey began at KKDA Soul 73

(Service Broadcasting Co.)

He started  out as the producer of "The Carmen Pagano Show" and after one year became the co-host of "Talking Sports" w/Roger B. Brown.  The oppurtunity  to interview personalities in the NFL, NBA, MLB, amateur sports, and  executives throughout the media landscape have been a great expereince.

His knowledge, humor, and sports savvy was a joy to listeners who tuned in each day with hot topics, in-depth interviews, and community related events. Mr. Willis coverage of events such as the Essence Music Festival, Super Bowl XLV, 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend and  UIL High School Championships.

 

Donald  is also a media consultant for All-Star Sports Marketing Co., a sports media company that provides marketing packages to high school athletic programs throughout the state of Texas. He  is one of the premier public address (PA) announcers in the area and can be heard announcing high school football, basketball, and other amateur sports throughout the North Texas area. 

 

He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and evaluating potential podcasters who are looking to enhance their brand and is the producer who oversees the production of each podcasts.

Trudy M.Willis
Business Manager

Trudy  is the Business Manager for PowerPlay Podcast TV, PowerPlay Radio Network and manages PowerPlay Social Media Center. Her responsibilities are  achieving revenue goals with the sales department by managing inventory cost, hiring staff and maintaining market visibility. She has a staff of 4 employees that provide social media campaigns  for podcasters and small companies.

 

She has an extensive background in accounting and was employed for 24 years as a business analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank in New Orleans, La., and Atlanta, Ga.  

Trudy has a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and mentors students in math and algebra. She also enjoys traveling, walking , theater, reading and is an avid New Orleans Saints fan and loves cooking her favorite creole cuisine. She is married to Donald Willis and they have two adult children that reside in New York, NY and Dallas, TX.

Gena Irby Hill is responsible for the administrative component of the PowerPlay brand and  develops strategies  that are implemented to the growth of the company. You can catch her podcast Mind,Body & Soul  from 5-6pm(cst) on the first and third Saaturday of each month.

Gena’s many years of experience and education as a  administrative assistant and  along with her artistic background is a welcome addition to the overall operation of PowerPlay.

She is a resource of knowledge, general office skills, and is proficient with  many software  programs while striving to stay relevant with today's  technology.  As a naturally motivated individual she has established her gifts and talents throughout Dallas and her home town Mobile, Alabama where she is a big Roll Tide fan. 

With her composed demeanor and love for Jesus Christ, she brings a sense of stability to any envirorment.

Sandrella Bush

Ms. Bush  is the  Social media coordinator for the TGN PowerPlay Media Group where she  develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. 

She is responsible for a staff of four whose duties are to enhance the social media platforms that are essential to the growth and vision of the company. She is married and lives in the Dallas area where she is a teacher in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School district. In her past time she is a avid in poetry and attends different events throughout the country.

Tiffany is the Media Assistant for PowerPlay . Her leaderships of 24 years with Southwest Airlines  is an asset to the  vision that the company is striving to attain.

Her management skills  and working  with the business manager extends  support to  clients.

 

Tiffany  responsibilities include researching competitive brands , marketing strategies developing and executing social media campaigns and booking guest for some of  the PowerPlay Podcasters. She also works with the social media manager to create ideas for potential  clients and while assisting them to their targeted demographics.

 

She is the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of three and enjoys  traveling, bargin shopping, gardening  and spending time with family

Tiffany Willis  Media Assistant

Mona Hooks Media Consultant

Mona is a Media Consultant  for  the PowerPlay brand  and  sets the strategy and oversees branding, marketing, public relations and all efforts supporting the programming at Power Play.  She develops, creates and brainstorms promotions and marketing visions to the sales department to ensure that the company visibility.  

 

​She is from Tulsa, OK and graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Mona has a strong belief in education while obtaining dual Masters Degrees from Webster University and Keller Graduate School of Management.  Mona is active with the Guardian ad Litem Program in her community and enjoys traveling, reading, jewelry making and is an avid movie buff.

John Harris Jr.
Relationship Consultant

John is the Relationship Represenative  for PowerPlay and  provides leadership  by giving direction, training and feedback to podcast hosts. He assists staff in maintaining, prospecting and developing new clients and new business ventures to ensure PowerPlay goals are met. John also establishes and maintains key advertiser relationships and is active in community involvement.

John has spent more than three decades as a sports journalist in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Tanpa Bay, Ohio, and Lexington, Ky. He has been the lead sports columnist and beat writer for professional teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic, and Power 5 college programs including Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Pitt, Florida State, Florida and Miami.

 

He co-hosted the "Ike Taylor Radio Show" in Pittsburgh for five years and was a broadcaster for Pittsburgh Power Arena Football games for two years. He attended multiple Super Bowls, Final Fours, NBA Finals, Kentucky Derbys, a host of national championship college football games and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. John is the recipient of numerous national, regional, state and local writing awards.
